Terms of Service

Last updated 21 August 2026

The terms you and Sedona Tech Solutions are working under. Short, because the work should speak louder than the paperwork.

Who this is

Sedona Tech Solutions, a technology services business operated by Thomas Karl, serving Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek, Cornville, Cottonwood, Camp Verde and the surrounding Verde Valley.

The work

Services include in-home and small-business technology help, device setup, data recovery attempts, websites, and marketing and phone automation. What is included in your specific job is whatever was agreed in writing — a quote, an email, or a text. That written agreement wins over anything general on this website.

Prices and payment

Rates and plan prices are published on this website and are quoted before work begins. Anything quoted before the work is seen is an estimate; if a job turns out to be materially different, you will be told before the extra work happens, not after. Invoices are due on receipt unless agreed otherwise. Monthly plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract, and can be cancelled any time before the next billing date.

Data recovery — read this one

Data recovery can never be guaranteed. Failed drives, damaged phones, and locked accounts sometimes cannot be recovered at any price, by anyone. Diagnostic effort is charged for whether or not recovery succeeds, and that will always be made clear before starting. You are responsible for having your own backup — and setting one up is usually the cheapest useful thing that can be done for you.

What is not promised

Work is done with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, there is no warranty that any device, network, or service will be free of faults, and no responsibility is taken for hardware already failing when it arrived, for third-party services changing or going down, or for data lost where no working backup existed. Liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the work in question.

Your side

You confirm that you own the devices and accounts you ask for help with, or have permission to authorize work on them. Safe access to the premises and equipment is your responsibility, as is mentioning anything hazardous before a visit.

Cancelling a visit

Plans change and life happens. As much notice as you can manage is appreciated, so the slot can go to someone else who needs it. Repeated no-shows may need a deposit before booking again.

Phone lines and AI

Some Sedona Tech Solutions numbers are answered by an AI receptionist, a computer system rather than a person. Calls it handles are recorded with a spoken notice first, and an appointment it books is a real appointment. It does not give final prices — those come from a person.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Arizona.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The terms in force when your work was agreed are the ones that apply to it.
