Grace Grants · for churches & nonprofits

Your ministry likely qualifies for $10,000 a month in free Google ads.

The Google Ad Grant gives eligible churches and nonprofits up to $10,000 every month of free Google Search advertising — $120,000 a year. Almost nobody in the Verde Valley has claimed it. I set it up, keep it healthy, and hand you a one-page report each month in plain English.

What this is — honestly

The most under-used blessing in nonprofit tech.

When someone nearby Googles "food bank Sedona," "grief support near me," or "church in Sedona" — the organizations they find are the ones running these ads. The grant decides whether that's you.

And because you deserve the straight version before any call:

  • The $10,000/month is Google's ad credit, not cash — it pays for ads, it never touches your bank account.
  • It runs text ads on Google Search only — no banner ads, no YouTube.
  • Eligibility: churches and ministries generally qualify with recognized charity status (e.g., 501(c)(3)) and a real, secure website. Government entities, hospitals, and schools don't (schools have their own program).
  • Google suspends grants that slip below its rules — a 5% click-through floor, keyword quality standards, account structure. This is why most unmanaged grants die, and why setup alone isn't enough.
What I set up

Five pieces, done for you.

1
Google for Nonprofits enrollment

Charity verification done right, together — identity steps and Google's terms stay in your hands, and I sit with you for them.

2
Ad Grant activation + your first campaign

Built to Google's rules so it passes review — mission-true ads for the things people actually search for.

3
Google Business Profile

Claimed and cleaned up — hours, photos, description, and your giving link — so you're found on Google Maps too.

4
Text-to-give

"Text GIVE to your number" replies with your own secure giving page. Donations flow to your processor — never through me.

5
A simple digital front door

If your website is too thin to qualify, I build or refresh a clean page wired to your giving and "get help" paths.

THE PART THAT MATTERS

Grant Care — kept alive, month after month

Most organizations that get the grant lose it within months — nobody's watching the click-through floor, the keyword rules, the structure requirements. Grant Care is the quiet monthly routine that keeps yours healthy:

  • Click-through rate checked against Google's 5% rule
  • Weak keywords pruned, fresh ones added
  • Ad copy refreshed so it never goes stale
  • Conversion tracking verified
  • Google's annual survey handled on time
  • A one-page monthly report: who you reached, in plain English

Pricing is flat and honest — a one-time setup and simple monthly care, told plainly on your free call. No contracts. Never a percentage of ad spend or donations.

Why I do this

Ministry-adjacent work I take personally.

I'm Thomas — local, part of a Verde Valley congregation myself, and this is the corner of my work that sits closest to my faith. Your mission deserves to be findable by the people praying someone can help them this week.

So the ground rules are simple: your accounts stay yours, giving flows straight to your organization, I tell you plainly if you're not eligible, and there's no pressure at any step. If all you take from our call is a free answer, that's a fine outcome.

Common questions

Asked by every board, answered straight.

Is the Google Ad Grant real?

Yes — an official Google program, running for over two decades, giving eligible nonprofits up to $10,000/month in free Search advertising. Most small organizations simply never claim it.

Are we eligible?

Most churches and ministries qualify with recognized charity status (like 501(c)(3)) and a real, secure website. Government entities, hospitals, and schools are not eligible — schools have a separate Google program. The check is free and takes about 15 minutes.

What's the catch?

No catch — honest limits. It's Google's ad credit, not cash; it only runs text ads on Google Search; and Google enforces program rules. Most small orgs realistically use a few hundred to a couple thousand dollars of it monthly — still hundreds of neighbors finding you who weren't.

Do donations pass through you?

Never. Giving stays on your own processor and your own accounts, including text-to-give. I build the signposts; the money goes straight to you.

What does it cost?

Flat, honest pricing — one-time setup plus simple monthly care — shared plainly on the free eligibility call. No contracts, and never a percentage of ad spend or donations.

We had the grant and lost it. Can it come back?

Very often, yes. Most suspensions trace to the 5% click-rate rule nobody was watching. I diagnose it, fix the structure, request reactivation — and then keep it from happening again.
